Si me regalan un minuto tengo un mensaje en el cual creo y quiero compartir:

Juntos somos padres. Juntos somos maestros. Juntos somos vecinos. Todos tenemos una causa en común, nos esforzamos para asegurar que las Escuelas Públicas De Chicago siempre proporcionen educación de calidad y clase mundial. Al igual que un ambiente de aprendizaje que merecen todos los estudiantes en la ciudad. 

No solamente para nuestros estudiantes o nuestra escuela, para todo estudiante en la ciudad de Chicago.  

Sirvo como Represéntate Comunitario en Walt Disney Elementary School, y estoy orgulloso experiencia diversa en las aulas. Anteriormente serví como Representante Comunitario en Nicholas Senn High School, que educa a estudiantes de Edgewater y Andersonville.

Traigo conmigo una década de experiencia en políticas públicas, que incluye ayudar a escribir y aprobar enmiendas de vivienda sobre los derechos de los inquilinos con sentido común en la Ciudad de Chicago. Tambien he abogado por política educativa y leyes que promueven y reclutan para para la profesión de maestros en el Estado de Illinois. Unidos podemos crear gran contabilidad y trabajar para la equidad y transparencia para protegerla.

My Fellow Council-members,

Together, we are parents.   Together, we are teachers.  Together, we are neighbors.

We all have one common cause: we strive to ensure that Chicago Public Schools always provides the world-class education and teaching environment that the students of our city deserve, 

not just for our student or our school, but for every student and every school of Chicago.

I serve as a Community Representative at Walt Disney Elementary School, and I am proud of the diversity of the class-

room experience.  Before this, I served as a Community Representative to Nicholas Senn High School which teaches the students of Edgewater and Andersonville.

I bring with me a decade of public policy experience, including helping write and pass common sense renters’ rights 

housing amendments in the City of Chicago,

and  advocating for education policy and passing laws to promote and recruit for the teaching profession in the State of Illinois. Together, we can create greater Accountability to work toward Equity, and Transparency to Protect it.

I would appreciate your vote, and together, we can Look Forward.
